How long does delivery from India to Canada take?
Most orders reach Canada in 7–14 days once the maker has packed them. Every order is tracked door to door, and made-to-order pieces show their crafting time on the listing before you buy.
Do I pay customs duty on Indian goods in Canada?
Canadian duty and GST/HST are quoted at checkout, so nothing is collected at your door on delivery.
What currency will I be charged in?
Prices display in CAD and you're charged in it. The exchange rate is applied when you see the price, not silently at settlement.
Are the sellers verified?
Yes. Every seller on haat is identity-verified before they can list, and each piece names the maker and their workshop. GI-certified pieces carry the Indian government's Geographical Indication mark, which we verify against the registry rather than take on trust.
Can I return something to India if it isn't right?
Yes — returns are handled through haat rather than left between you and a workshop 7,000km away. The window and process are on our returns policy.
